Travelers who have had to pay high fares. Dark Woods. The Pools That Were Once Obscured By The 1559 Filter. They are now clear, but not deep enough to hold.
Legends tell of a society that flourished due to DankShard, the great giant, who was there. Roll-Ups living in fields that nurture Data Blobs, each with its own layer of fractal nourishment.
Our Guides will teach you how to summon DankShard. Ritual. All Members of the Ethereum Lands, both within the nation and internationally, are invited to attend. Each One will bring a special contribution to this group and help light the way forward. 🕯
General Summary
The KZG Ritual is a coordinated public event that will serve as a cryptographic base for Ethereum. To increase these efforts, EIP-4844 is also known as Proto-danksharding. These types of events are also referred to as “trusted settings,” which Zcash uses to activate privacy features on the chain. However, they can also be used for scaling. Ethereum plans to do this.
Proto-danksharding requires a new cryptographic system. This will lead to a “Structured Reference Chain” (SRS) that is necessary to commit to work. An SRS can only occur if at least one of the participants in the ceremony is able to keep it secret.
It is a multi-part ritual. Each Contributor creates their own secret, then figures out how to combine it with all previous contributions. The output is then made public and sent to the next author. You can help scale the process. A future update will include the final result on the Ethereum network.

It is crucial
Your participation has a significant impact on more than the technical outcome of the ritual. It will also enable escalation mechanisms.
The Core protocol development of Ethereum offers a rare opportunity for the community to be directly involved. The credibility of the ritual is now of utmost importance. Its success in the future will depend on contributions from many different sources.
As we build our own infrastructure, it reminds us of our goals. Ethereum now provides protocols that anyone can use or contribute to. This redefines the meaning of the word “call” in a world that is changing.
How To Participate
These are the main ways you can help. The Ethereum community can contribute to the construction of this essential infrastructure.
- Browser Interfaces
- Add randomness to your browser
- Information and participation can be found at ceremony.ethereum.org. Be sure that this is the only URL you use! It could be a phishing or malicious attack
- You can use the IPFS host interface or the host interface directly.
- Participants must provide the following information: Ethereum address (sent at least 4 transactions as of 01/13/2023, or more) Github Register to prevent spammers from getting access to your account
- Command Line Implementations
