Study Finds Arizona Among Top Crypto-Ready States in 2022

A recent survey has uncovered interesting insights into crypto-readiness among US states. The research conducted by Invezz found that Florida is the most prepared for the adoption of digital currency, and Arizona is number 6.

Key findings:

• Vermont is the only state without Bitcoin ATMs.

• Wyoming has the most blockchain companies per 100,000 people, with over 20. California is the leader with 2,670.

• California has the highest annual cryptocurrency search rate per 1,000 persons, with 236.

• Rhode Island has the most Bitcoin ATMs per 100,000 and the most crypto ATMs/sq mile, with an average of 165 per 1,000 sq. miles.

• Texas has the most comprehensive Bitcoin ATMs, with 4,101.

• 9 states have no capital gains tax at the state level, which could mean higher returns for crypto investors.

• New York has the most comprehensive crypto-related laws, with 19 bills passed.
