The Babylon art exhibition is set to be a show like no other. Drawing in over 100 digital and traditional artists, it is set to take place in New York City on April 12-13, 2023. This show is organized by Babylon, an NFT gallery that specializes in primary sales of editions. 30 core artists are featured in the exhibition, including well-known names like Tigran Tsitoghdzyan, Rik Oostenbroek, and Archan Nair.

The show also features some of the most influential traditional artists, such as Terrell Jones, whose pieces have been auctioned off at Sotheby’s. Another highlight of the exhibition is the personal collection of Babylon’s founder, Paruyr Shahbazyan, which is being displayed to the public for the first time.

Babylon is also launching a new NFT platform at the show, which they hope will become the home for digital editions. On the opening night on April 12, the exhibition will be open to the public. Tickets are available here and you can view the invitation here.

The importance of this exhibition lies in the fact that it offers an opportunity to change the art world for the better. Paruyr Shahbazyan explains:

“Art has always been close to my heart, but I wanted to make a real difference in the space. The emergence of NFTs has presented a chance to democratize the art world in the same way that printmaking did in the 18th century. With Babylon, new sales mechanisms based on editions will create an art world that’s fair and accessible to everyone.”
