Bitcoin Prices Soar in India: Ethereum, Doge, Solana, Litecoin, Ripple XRP, and Dogecoin Among Top Gainers and Losers

Bitcoin (BTC), the world’s oldest and most valued cryptocurrency, failed to rise above the $28,000 mark on Wednesday. Other popular altcoins — including the likes of Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Litecoin (LTC) Solana (SOL) and Memecoin PEPE — saw a mix of minor gains and dips. Ripple (XRP) was the top gainer, jumping almost 6 percent in just 24 hours.

At the time of writing this article, the global crypto market cap was $1.16 trillion, representing a drop of 0.26 percent in 24 hours.

Bitcoin (BTC) Price Today

CoinMarketCap data had the price of Bitcoin at $27,659.61, representing a drop of 0.69 percent in 24 hours. Indian exchange WazirX pegged the BTC price at Rs 24.25 lakh.

Ethereum (ETH) Price Today

ETH was trading at $1,897.46, representing a 24-hour drop of 0.21 percent. WazirX had the Ethereum Price in India at Rs 1.68 lakh.

Dogecoin (DOGE) Price Today

Dogecoin was worth $0.0724, as per CoinMarketCap. WazirX had the Dogecoin Price in India at Rs 6.32.

Litecoin (LTC) Price Today

Litecoin recorded a 24-hour rise of 0.40 percent, with the price standing at $91.70. On WazirX, LTC Price in India was at Rs 7,900.

Ripple (XRP) Price Today

XRP was trading at $0.5267, with a gain of 5.82 percent in 24 hours. WazirX had the Ripple Price in India at Rs 46.

Solana (SOL) Price Today

The Solana price was $21.09 on Monday, representing a rise of 0.88 percent in 24 hours. WazirX had the SOL price in India at Rs 1,879.

What Crypto Exchanges Are Saying About Current Market Scenario

Mudrex Co-founder and CEO Edul Patel said to ABP Live that on Tuesday, Bitcoin surpassed the $28,000 mark in trading but has since experienced a slight decline as investors keep a close eye on developments regarding the debt ceiling deal. The market is eagerly awaiting the upcoming House vote on the debt limit agreement, scheduled for today.

Shubham Hudda from CoinSwitch stated that crypto markets have traded flat in the last 24 hours, with the global crypto market capitalisation being at $1.2 trillion, the same as yesterday. Of the top 10 cryptos by market capitalization, only XRP is currently trading in the green.

WazirX Vice President Rajagopal Menon said that Bitcoin opens at $27,686 (-0.2 percent) and Ether at $1,901 (+0.4 percent). Bitcoin’s range fluctuates between $25,800 and $28,000, driven by heightened volatility.

Sathvik Vishwanath, Founder and CEO of Unocoin, said that the current price of Bitcoin is $27,724.72, with a 24-hour trading volume of $13.31 billion. Ethereum is priced at $1,893.26 with a 24-hour trading volume of $5.42 billion.

Shivam Thakral, the CEO of BuyUCoin, said that the global crypto market cap is $1.16T, with a 0.09 percent decrease in the last day. Bitcoin’s dominance is 46.43 percent, with a slight 0.10 percent decline.

The CoinDCX Research Team told ABP Live that Bitcoin is currently being traded at $27,850 and has witnessed a nearly 1 percent increase in the past 24 hours. Ethereum held on exchanges has reached a level that hasn’t been seen since July 2016, as more and more ETH is being staked.
