Bitcoin Surges Above $30,000 as Compound Emerges as Top Gainer

Crypto coins have been on a roll as of late. Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) – two of the most valued crypto coins – managed to surpass the $31,000 and $19,000 marks respectively on early Sunday morning. The global crypto market cap stood at $1.20 trillion with a 24-hour gain of 0.43 percent.

Let’s look at the prices of some of the most popular altcoins.

Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at $30,956.90 with a 24-hour gain of 0.70 percent. As per Indian exchange WazirX, BTC price stood at Rs 26.54 lakhs.

Ethereum (ETH) was trading at $1,913.35 with a 24-hour gain of 0.96 percent. WazirX listed ETH price in India at Rs 1.64 lakhs.

Dogecoin (DOGE) registered a 24-hour loss of 0.36 percent, currently priced at $0.06793. As per WazirX, Dogecoin price in India stood at Rs 5.8001.

Litecoin (LTC) saw a 24-hour loss of 2.15 percent. At the time of writing, it was trading at $90.15 with LTC price in India at Rs 7,820.00.

Ripple (XRP) was priced at $0.491, with a 24-hour loss of 0.47 percent. According to WazirX, Ripple price in India was Rs 42.5000.

Solana (SOL) price stood at $17.09, marking a 24-hour loss of 1.66 percent. WazirX listed SOL price in India at Rs 1,470.00.

The top crypto gainers over the past 24 hours, as per CoinMarketCap data were: Compound (COMP) with a 24-hour gain of 34.55 percent, Kava (KAVA) with a 24-hour gain of 14.84 percent, Aave (AAVE) with a 24-hour gain of 14.55 percent, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) with a 24-hour gain of 9.49 percent and Enjin Coin (ENJ) with a 24-hour gain of 6.24 percent.

Conversely, the top crypto losers over the past 24 hours were: Render Token (RNDR) with a 24-hour loss of 3.18 percent, Rocket Pool (RPL) with a 24-hour loss of 2.99 percent, Sui (SUI) with a 24-hour loss of 2.71 percent, BNB (BNB) with a 24-hour loss of 2.68 percent and eCash (XEC) with a 24-hour loss of 2.27 percent.
