Kava, a Layer-1 blockchain that unites the development power of Ethereum with the speed and interoperability of Cosmos, has just launched the Kava 14 upgrade. This deploys ‘internal bridge’ technology to convert ERC20 tokens and native Cosmos assets.
The Kava 14 upgrade comes after Tether’s announcement to make Kava the gateway for issuing native USDt on Cosmos. This means that USDt can now be minted and converted on the Bitcoin, Ethereum, TRON, and other L1 networks.
According to Scott Stuart, Kava Co-Founder, “Within the first few days of Kava launching the official Tether integration, more USDt has been issued on Cosmos than on Polkadot and Near combined.”
Kava has seen considerable growth. Kucoin now supports Kava’s Cosmos and EVM networks and Curve Finance has launched a USDt liquidity pool. Furthermore, Stargate, a top omnichain liquidity layer, is set to launch on Kava soon.
The Kava 14 upgrade provides a safer, more secure, and more reliable way to convert assets across the Cosmos ecosystem. For more information and updates, follow Kava on Twitter.
Kava is a secure, lightning-fast Layer-1 blockchain that combines the developer power of Ethereum with the speed and interoperability of Cosmos in a single, scalable network. It is a trusted choice for developers and users worldwide.
This press release is not an offer to sell or the solicitation of an offer to buy USDt or KAVA tokens.
