Lead Shytoshi Kusama released a teaser video on his official Twitter handle, captivating the SHIB community with the cryptic statement “Wen is so last year. The real question is… Where?”. 2. Whales Purchase 360 Million XRP
Crypto analyst Ali Martinez reported that following a 12% drop in the token’s value, whales purchased the dip and added 360 million XRP to their bags, estimated to be worth $170,000,000. On June 22nd, XRP spiked to $0.52 before dropping to $0.486, then sinking to $0.464. XRP needs to confirm that the $0.486 daily MA50 barrier is a support for further growth, and a retest of its highs around $0.52.
3. Fidelity Refiles for Spot Bitcoin ETF
Eric Balchunas, senior ETF analyst for Bloomberg, reported that traditional finance giant Fidelity has reapplied for a Bitcoin ETF under the name “Wise Origin Bitcoin Trust”. This filing is similar to BlackRock (NYSE) and Ark Invest, and the SEC may approve a strategy if these big institutional players adopt a standard template.
