© Reuters Crypto Prices Drop By Over Half Since Reaching All-Time-Highs, Figures Show
- Bitcoin and Ethereum both have fallen more than 50% since their peak values.
- Both cryptos saw a rise in prices over the past day.
- Ethereum has dropped more than 60% since its all-time high.
Data from CoinGecko, one of the world’s largest independent cryptocurrency data aggregators, has revealed that both Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) have experienced drops of more than 50% since their all-time highs. CoinMarketCap data shows BTC is trading at $27,883.81, a decrease of 0.68% in the last 24 hours. This puts BTC down by 59.57% since its peak of over $69,000 back in November 2021.

In the last day, the leading cryptocurrency experienced a high of $28,475.62 and a low of $27,276.72. BTC’s value also weakened against ETH by 0.87% in the same time period.
The coin is still on the rise in the past week, with a 2% increase over the last seven days. BTC’s 24-hour trading volume is also in the green, currently standing at $19,092,485,199, a 40% rise since yesterday.
Ethereum’s price against its all-time high is not faring much better. ETH is currently worth $1,808.77, a rise of 1.52% in the last 24 hours. This put the altcoin at a loss of more than 60% since its peak in November 2021.

The coin has still been performing well in the past week, with an upwards trend of 4% in the last seven days. ETH’s 24-hour trading volume is also in the green, standing at $9,512,253,452 after a 44% increase since yesterday.
