Explore the Top 5 Cryptocurrencies with Most Address Activity

Cryptocurrencies Tokenomics is more than just market capitalization, trading price, and tokenomics. This revolutionary technology, which is shaking up a trillion-dollar industry, was designed to benefit individuals and address real-world issues, such as the use of peer-to-peer cash systems.

To determine which projects are being actively used and to what extent, the Daily Active Addresses (DAA) indicator provided by Santiment Screener can be useful. According to Santiment, DAA measures the number of unique addresses involved in all transactions for each cryptocurrency network on a daily basis.

Finbold conducted an analysis of the data provided by Santiment and identified the top five digital currencies with the highest daily active addresses in the last 30 days. These are:

1. Bitcoin (BTC): 1,04 million DDA per month
2. Ethereum (ETH): 423,880 DDA per month
3. Polygon (MATIC): 221,510 DDA per month
4. Litecoin (LTC): 218,580 DDA per month
5. Bitcoin Cash (BCH): 79,500 DDA per month

A comparison of today’s 30-day DAA and the report published on August 25 shows that Tether (USDT) has dropped from second place to fifth place. Bitcoin Cash has surged to the top five most active cryptocurrencies.

It is worth noting that USDT is evaluated individually for each chain. The second place used to be occupied by stablecoins from the BNB Chain, which is not the most popular blockchain for unique addresses.

The USDT is preferred by USDT holders. The second most active chain is Ethereum, then the Arbitrum network (layer-2 blockchain for Ethereum), and finally, Optimism and Circle USD (USDC).

The data clearly shows that cryptocurrencies for peer-to-peer payments are dominant in the market. Bitcoin, Litecoin, and now Bitcoin Cash are the top five DAA, indicating a high demand for on-chain payment systems.
