KuCoin has announced the launch of KuCard, a Visa-powered crypto debit card that merges digital assets with traditional banking. KuCard gives users the freedom to spend their cryptocurrency anywhere that accepts regular debit cards, with millions of locations available. Users can enjoy contactless payments using a smartphone, as the card integrates with Apple Pay and Google Pay.

This first phase of the launch is exclusively available to residents of the European Economic Area (EEA), while a global launch is planned for the future. To be eligible, users need to pass identity verification with an EEA-issued ID card. KuCard currently supports USDT and EUR, with more cryptocurrencies to be supported in the future.

In celebration of the launch, KuCoin is offering a special Black Friday promotion including unlimited cashback and a $2250 bonus. Additionally, users can take advantage of the cashback program, allowing them to earn cryptocurrency with every purchase made using the card.

Johnny Lyu, CEO at KuCoin commented on the launch: “The launch of KuCard represents a significant milestone for both KuCoin and the cryptocurrency industry as a whole, as the daily payment method. We are excited to offer users a seamless bridge between digital assets and traditional banking, empowering them to spend their cryptocurrency with ease while enjoying the benefits of a traditional debit card.”
