It’s been an exciting and memorable year for Ethereum and ethereum.org. Thanks to the scaling and Layer 2 ecosystems, we’ve been able to ship plenty of great features and content, with hundreds of incredible contributors supporting us along the way.

Translation Program🌎
Making Ethereum educational content available to as many languages as possible is essential to our team’s vision for ethereum.org. Our awesome community of supporters has come a long way since we became a multilingual website in 2019 and in 2022 we were thrilled to see continued growth in the number of people contributing to our translation program and the increase in the number of readers in languages other than English.
2022 in Numbers
- 3k new translators joined
- Translations of 4.6 million words
- 28% of visits are in languages other than English (Double the 2021 peak).
Help us translate ethereum.org
There’s been a lot to be proud of in 2022. But, there’s still a long way to go before we can realize our goal of providing Ethereum education to the non-English speaking world. If you speak a language other than English, you can check out our translation tool and make ethereum.org more accessible for everyone.
Join the translation program
Ethereum.org is the product of hundreds of contributors. Every contribution helps to create a great resource that will benefit the whole community. As ethereum.org was able to participate in many community-driven initiatives including the translation program. In 2022: We reached 37,000 Discord Members, an impressive 7,000 Crowdin Members, and the remarkable milestone of Git having over 1000 contributorsHub!
In particular, our most recent additions are: typescript show Y Migrating library uiwe had over 50 code contributors 🤯!
For content, and we had dozens of contributors to help us create new pages for ethereum.org. These included pages Block chain bridges, DeSci, Identity decentralizedYou can find many more!

Open design system 📐
Since May 2022 – We have been working to create the ethereum.org design system. The design took a lot of effort, and we’re happy to share it. In We’ll start rolling out the code for the new design system in Q1 2023.
One of the main goals of creating a design system was to enable designers to contribute to open source. Ethereum community. In 2023 we will continue to collaborate closely with the community in order to open up our design process to the community.

In 2022, Ethereum.org has achieved a great deal and the community has plenty to be proud of. We have been busy creating high-value content to fill in the gaps, and our quarterly roadmap is a great way to see what we are working on. We also worked on renewing our wallets, creating a learning hub, and adding learning quizzes to make learning about Ethereum more enjoyable. We also worked on preparing for The Merge, which involved auditing the entire website and creating new pages to reflect the changes. We are also supporting many other projects that are essential for the success and growth of Ethereum.org.
