Microsoft to Participate at Ethereum’s DEVCON1

London, UK, October 28 – The Ethereum blockchain platform is set to gain support from Microsoft as the tech giant sponsors and assists with the main developer conference, DEVCON1.

Marley Gray, Director US Financial Services Technology Strategy At Microsoft, said: “Microsoft is excited to sponsor and attend Ethereum DevCon1. We believe the Ethereum blockchain to be incredibly powerful and look forward to collaborating with the Ethereum community. We see a future where Microsoft Azure and Ethereum can enable new innovative platforms such as Blockchain-as-a-Service. This will serve as a tipping point in bringing blockchain technology to enterprise customers.”

Ethereum Founding founder Vitalik Buterin said: “DΞVCON1 is delighted to be working with Microsoft and we look forward to having them in London.”

DOVCON1 is set to take place from November 9-13 at Gibson Hall In London, UK. It will feature five days of technical presentations on core research, protocols, decentralized app (dApp) development and industrial and social implications.
