Only 4% of Companies in Spain Embrace the Metaverse – Metaverse Bitcoin News

Only 44% of companies in Spain have adopted the metaverse, according to an ISDI survey. The nationwide enterprise faculty found that 40% of the respondents found it hard to transfer certain elements of their business into the metaverse in an effective way.

Metaverse Adoption Slowly Grows in Spain

Banking and firm surveys have predicted that the metaverse will become a huge enterprise in the next decade. However, some corporations are finding it difficult to stay up-to-date with the digital age. ISDI, an enterprise faculty based in Spain, has revealed that many companies are having trouble transferring their business models to the metaverse.

The survey of managers at firms showed that less than 4 percent have responded to the call. Even with all the chaos that surrounded the ecosystem last year, corporations have still made their way into the metaverse. Additionally, 40% of surveyed companies said they don’t know how it could benefit their enterprise.

One in four companies admitted to not understanding the concept. 14% of respondents said they couldn’t immediately grasp it and were unable to figure out how to apply it.

An Evolving Scenario

Despite the issues, almost 4 out of 4 companies are in the analysis stages and are embracing an initiative based on metaverses. 28% of businesses surveyed recognized the importance of recruiting specific expertise for these initiatives.

Rodrigo Miranda, the last director of ISDI, believes it is an integral part of evolution. He stated that Spanish corporations and professionals need to be experts in the metaverse in order to present their services and products. He said:

The success of Spanish ventures, corporations, and professionals in this new universe will depend on the speed with which they will adapt to, accept and respond to any new changes that may come.

At the government level, Spain has expressed its support for the sector’s growth, backing companies that want to jump into the metaverse. In December, Spain’s Ministry Of Culture And Sport announced that it will invest €8 million ($8.5 million) in grants for companies developing immersive metaverse-based experiences in the area of video games.
