Pancakeswap Integrates with Transak to Enable Crypto Purchases with Fiat

Published:

Pancakeswap, one of the leading decentralised exchanges, has integrated with Transak, a developer integration toolkit that enables users to buy/sell cryptocurrencies in any app, website or web plugin. This integration has added to Pancakeswap’s “buy crypto” tab, giving users the ability to purchase cryptocurrencies using a variety of methods such as credit cards, bank transfers, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.

The announcement reveals that Transak is now available on seven blockchains with nine cryptocurrencies supported, including Ethereum, Polygon zkEVM, zkSync Era, Linea, Base, BNB Chain, and Arbitrum.

Pancakeswap’s head chef Mochi said, “It’s important that entry points remain simple yet robust. The combination of Transak’s expertise in fiat onboarding and PancakeSwap’s platform capabilities promises a future where accessing decentralised finance is straightforward and barrier-free for all.”

The integration comes after the launch of Pancakeswap V3 on the Ethereum Layer 2 Linea mainnet in August. Linea is a zero-knowledge proofs network developed by ConsenSys that is EVM-compatible.

Right now, Pancakeswap has more than $1.3 billion of cryptocurrencies in its contracts and processes more than $150 million in daily trading volume.

Key Takeaways:

• Pancakeswap has integrated with Transak for fiat onboarding on multiple chains.
• Users can now purchase cryptocurrencies with debit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay and other methods via Transak.
