According to Arkham’s announcement, Coinbase reserves nearly 1 million BTC, which accounts for about 5% of all bitcoin in existence and is nearly as much as that attributed to Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto.

Furthermore, Arkham has identified and tagged over 36 million BTC deposit and holding addresses used by Coinbase, with their largest cold wallet containing around 10,000 BTC. Additionally, Coinbase’s portfolio also includes 1.68 million Ethereum (ETH), 68.6 million Chainlink (LINK), nearly 223 million USD Coin (USDC) and 921,000 BNB (BNB). This makes their crypto portfolio worth more than $29 billion.

Coinbase has recently been expanding its services with a regulatory approval in Spain. They’ve also secured registration with the Bank of Spain to offer services as a crypto exchange and crypto custody wallet provider, and are working towards regulatory clarity in the US.

Overall, Coinbase’s BTC holdings are an impressive feat and make it the world’s largest known Bitcoin entity.
