Cryptocurrencies experienced a notable rally this weekend, with Solana (SOL) jumping up to 20% and Cardano (ADA) reaching its highest point since November 2020. At the time of writing, the global crypto market capitalization had risen 6.86%.
Solana (SOL) saw the biggest surge, with its USD pair trading at $26.41. This marked a 12-week peak, surpassing the key price record of $25.00. The 14-day RSI also broke its own record at 73.00. If the bulls were to break the 81.00 level, this could take the token above the $30.00 mark.
Cardano (ADA) was also a major mover for the weekend, reaching a high of $0.3726. This put the ADA/USD at its strongest point in the last 12 weeks, surpassing the $0.3650 resistance. The current price level is at $0.366. If the hurdle of $0.7300 were to be cleared, the next target for the bulls could be around the $0.40 mark.
This weekend’s rally of cryptocurrency prices is significant, and could be an indication of further gains in the near future.
