Trezor, a crypto hardware wallet company, is releasing two new products today: Trezor Safe and Trezor Keep Metal. Trezor Safe 3, which retails for $79, comes in four colors and is perfect for storing 12-word and 24-word standard backups. Trezor Keep Metal, which retails for $99, is suitable for Shamir backup. There is also a special limited-edition Bitcoin-only Trezor Safe 3, which sells for $79 and is available in one color – bitcoin orange. As part of the celebration of the 10-year anniversary since Trezor introduced the Bitcoin hardware wallet, €21 from each sale of the special edition will be donated to the Trezor Academy, a Bitcoin education initiative.

A new digital currency called DCJPY is set to be issued by July 2024 by a group of Japanese firms. This yen-based coin will be backed by bank deposits and will link to bank accounts to enable settlement of transactions. It is intended to be used by Internet Initiative Japan for the settlement of clean energy certificates.
CleanSpark, a Bitcoin miner, recently purchased 4.4 exahashes per second (EH/s) of the newly announced Antminer S21 Bitcoin mining machines.
