“WAX Blockchain Partners with AWS to Enhance Web3 Gaming Experience”

Published:

The WAX blockchain and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have joined forces to revolutionize WebThree gaming tools, marking a significant milestone in the development of decentralized apps (dApps).

Through this partnership, AWS’ Amazon Managed Blockchain (AMB) will incorporate support for WAX’s suite of Web3 tools, providing developers with seamless access to the AWS console and blockchain infrastructure. This integration simplifies the deployment of WAX mainnets, making it easier for developers to build on both testnets and mainnets.

The WAX blockchain, also known as Worldwide Asset Exchange, is a blockchain-based ecosystem that caters to gaming and non-fungible tokens. Its integration with AWS will enhance the development experience through features such as single-sign-on, native random number generator, developer portals, cross-chain bridges, and blockchain explorers.

Lukas Sliwka, CTO at WAX, highlighted the partnership’s significance in driving mass adoption of Web3 technologies. The collaboration empowers developers from both blockchain-native and traditional Web2 backgrounds to seamlessly integrate decentralized elements, as emphasized by Dimitri Nikolaros, BountyBlok – a top-21 block producer on WAX.

WAX’s growing influence in Web3 is evident through its custom tools and incentive mechanisms, aimed at improving the usability of blockchain technology across various sectors. With over 140 Web3 games using WAX as their foundation, and millions of transactions per month, the platform has solidified its position as an important player in the Web3 ecosystem.

This partnership with AWS builds upon WAX’s existing relationship with Amazon, as seen with the inclusion of the WAX trading cards game in Amazon Prime Gaming service. This collaboration highlights WAX’s commitment to driving innovation within the gaming industry and beyond, paving the way for widespread adoption of Web3 applications.
