Whale Investors Snag $94M in Ethereum During Price Dip

Last week’s dip in Ethereum price presented a great opportunity for four whales, as blockchain sleuth Lookonchain has revealed. These four wallet addresses collectively bought $94M in ETH, Ethereum’s native token, as the price of Ether declined along with other crypto assets in the broader market sell-off.

Data shows that three of the four whales bought 18,000 ETH, 17,900 ETH and 18,200 ETH worth more than $30 million each, while the other acquired 2,000 ETH worth around $3.4 million. Market intelligence platform Santiment also noted a surge in whale activity for Ethereum during the market weakness, with addresses holding 10-10k ETH significantly adding to their holdings and 23k whale transactions recorded over the past week.

At the moment, ETH price is struggling for momentum above $1,600 as the market awaits fresh volatility.
